Hi, my name is Dr. Zafarnia, and I am a veterinarian here. I am passionate about animal welfare and strengthening the human-animal bond, and I bring a multidisciplinary perspective to every patient I see.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, I am a proud pet parent to my two cats, Tala and Taro. I love to travel and explore new destinations, and I eagerly look forward to whale-watching season in the New York Bight every year.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology from Baruch College, a Master of Science in Global Affairs from New York University, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from LIU College of Veterinary Medicine.
